    A 17-year-old woman experienced severe anagen effluvium (AE), a hair growth disorder, following drug reaction with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms (DRESS) syndrome. This condition, commonly caused by alopecia areata (AA), typically persists due to its autoimmune nature. However, in this case, the patient achieved a full and rapid recovery within two months using topical minoxidil, highlighting the potential for quick resolution of AE induced by DRESS syndrome.
