The study analyzed the effectiveness of brodalumab versus ustekinumab in treating psoriasis using absolute PASI scores. Data from the Phase III AMAGINE-2 and -3 trials showed that over 52 weeks, a higher proportion of patients achieved lower absolute PASI scores with brodalumab compared to ustekinumab. The probability of achieving a response state was significantly greater with brodalumab (hazard ratio: 1.96), and at Week 52, 81% of patients on brodalumab were in response compared to 60% on ustekinumab. Additionally, the mean time in response was longer for brodalumab (215 days) than for ustekinumab (145 days), indicating brodalumab's superior efficacy in maintaining a response.
