TLDR Early-stage Alopecia Areata was effectively treated in less than six months.
This document presents a case study of a 55-year-old Malaysian Chinese man with early-stage Alopecia Areata (AA) treated at Dr. Inder Clinic. The patient, who had no prior medical issues, experienced hair loss in the parietal region of the scalp after a stressful period. The treatment involved intralesional injections of triamcinolone acetonide every two weeks for two months, complemented by oral Prednisone, topical Minoxidil, and Vitamin C supplements. After the third injection and 10 mg of Prednisone, rapid hair growth was observed, and within three months, the bald area was completely covered. The study emphasizes the importance of raising public awareness about AA and its treatments, demonstrating that early-stage AA can be effectively treated in less than six months. The case serves as an example to encourage patients to seek treatment promptly and confidently.
