TLDR Alcohol in teen years leads to more adult drinking, finasteride doesn't help.
The study found that exposure to alcohol during late adolescence increased drinking behavior in adult Wistar rats, and this effect was not reduced by finasteride. The rats were given a choice between alcohol and water, and the results showed a significant increase in alcohol preference and intake in the alcohol group compared to the control group. The study suggests that alcohol exposure during adolescence may have long-term effects on drinking behavior in adulthood.
