Study on Related Factors of Androgenetic Alopecia and Efficacy of Finasteride Therapy in 201 Patients

    The study investigated factors related to androgenetic alopecia (AGA) and the effectiveness of finasteride treatment in 201 patients with AGA of Hamilton grades Ⅱ-Ⅶ. It found that inheritance and psychological factors were correlated with AGA. After 3 months of finasteride treatment, the total response rate was 77.8%, indicating that AGA was influenced by multiple factors and that finasteride was an effective treatment.
