TLDR Hair restoration using micrografts and minigrafts can provide natural-looking hair without scars and good density in 1 or 2 sessions.
From March 1994 to March 2002, a study involving over 400 patients demonstrated the effectiveness of hair restoration using 2000 to 2500 micrografts and minigrafts. The procedure, which involved harvesting skin from the occipital area and dissecting it into individual grafts, resulted in satisfactory outcomes with few complications, typically in just one session. Further enhancement was achieved in a second session. The study concluded that this method could provide natural-looking, aesthetically pleasing hair restoration without detectable scars and with reasonable hair density in just 1 or 2 sessions.
