TLDR The Ayurvedic treatment helped a woman with PCOS, improving her symptoms and menstrual cycle.
This case study describes the successful Ayurvedic treatment of a 25-year-old female with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), which included herbo-mineral formulations and yoga therapy. After about three and a half months, the patient experienced significant symptom reduction and normalization of menstruation. The study concludes that the Ayurvedic protocol was effective for treating PCOS, with no reported recurrence of menstrual irregularities, but it also calls for further scientific validation of this treatment method.
