    This study on C57/BL6 mice examined the effects of finasteride and luteolin on hair growth and loss prevention, revealing that both substances increased cell proliferation by over 30% and improved hair growth metrics significantly. Skin pigmentation, hair thickness, and density increased by up to 90%, 53%, and 57%, respectively. Histological analysis showed an increased anagen/telogen ratio, while gene expression analysis indicated upregulation of eight genes and downregulation of six genes related to apoptosis and cell differentiation. These results suggested that finasteride and luteolin could extend the anagen phase and delay the catagen phase, offering potential for hair loss treatment development.
