SLCTs are rare, androgen-secreting tumors typically found in younger, premenopausal women, making this case particularly unusual due to the patient's advanced age. The findings suggested that it might be beneficial to assess androgen and estrogen levels in postmenopausal women, even those without classical signs of virilization, to identify potential underlying conditions like SLCT.
