TLDR Bundle hair grafting is an effective and safe treatment for hair loss, with excellent cosmetic results.
The study evaluated the effectiveness of bundle hair grafting in 52 patients with androgenetic alopecia. It found that hair loss was most common in the third week post-grafting, while regrowth was most common in the fourth month. The procedure provided excellent cosmetic satisfaction even after one session. Side effects included facial edema (19.2%), temporary sensory loss at the donor site (5.8%), folliculitis (1.9%), and small pitted scarring (3.8%). Despite requiring time and skilled personnel, bundle hair grafting was concluded to be an effective and safe treatment for androgenetic alopecia.
