The Waist-to-Hip Ratio (WHR) is a measurement that compares the circumference of the waist to that of the hips. It is calculated by dividing the waist measurement by the hip measurement. This ratio is used to assess body fat distribution and can be an indicator of health risks; a higher WHR is often associated with a greater risk of cardiovascular diseases and type 2 diabetes.
