Serological tests, also known as serology tests or serologic assays, are diagnostic examinations that detect the presence of antibodies or antigens in a person's blood. These tests are commonly used to diagnose infections, autoimmune disorders, and to determine blood type, by analyzing the immune response to pathogens or foreign substances.
