In this study, topical application of 5% bear oil on C57BL/6 mice accelerated hair regrowth and increased hair follicle depth and size more than 2% bear oil, minoxidil, or ethanol.

This study optimized the extraction process of bear grease through enzymatic hydrolysis and found that it was rich in unsaturated fatty acids, enhancing its hair growth-promoting properties in mice compared to traditional methods.
