Working memory improved immediately post-training, but there were no baseline impairments in impulse control and emotional regulation, nor did CWMT impact these areas more than the control. Participants found CWMT feasible and acceptable, reporting increased openness about symptoms and feeling less isolated. The study concluded that CWMT was a feasible and effective intervention for HPD, warranting further research on its mechanisms and cost-efficiency in larger trials.
