The study aimed to improve the diagnosis and management of peripheral artery disease (PAD) in high-risk asymptomatic patients by implementing the American Heart Association/American College of Cardiology (AHA/ACC) standardized ankle-brachial index (ABI) screening in an outpatient cardiology center.
