research Bioengineered Polyester Nanoparticles for the Synergistic Treatment of Androgenic Alopecia via the Suppression of 5α-Reductase and Knockdown of Androgen Receptor
Bioengineered nanoparticles can effectively treat hair loss by targeting specific enzymes and receptors.
research DNA Methylation Mediates LncRNA2919 Regulation of Hair Follicle Regeneration
research Development and Progression of Alopecia in the Vitamin D Receptor Null Mouse
Mice without the vitamin D receptor gene lose hair due to disrupted hair follicle cycles.
research The Genetics of Human Skin Disease
Genetic research has advanced our understanding of skin diseases, but complex conditions require an integrative approach for deeper insight.
research Design of a Biofluid-Absorbing Bioactive Sandwich-Structured Zn–Si Bioceramic Composite Wound Dressing for Hair Follicle Regeneration and Skin Burn Wound Healing
Wound dressing absorbs fluid, regenerates hair follicles, and heals skin burns.
research Significance of the S100A4 Protein in Psoriasis
The S100A4 protein is more common in psoriatic skin and could be a target for treating psoriasis.
research Dihydrotestosterone-Induced Hair Regrowth Inhibition by Activating Androgen Receptor in C57BL6 Mice Simulates Androgenetic Alopecia
DHT stops hair regrowth in mice, similar to human hair loss.
research Curcumin/Fe-SiO2 Nano Composites with Multi-Synergistic Effects for Scar Inhibition and Hair Follicle Regeneration During Burn Wound Healing
New nano composite helps reduce scars and regrow hair during burn wound healing.
research Dysregulation of Grainyhead-Like 3 Expression Causes Widespread Developmental Defects
Not having enough or having too much of the protein Grainyhead-like 3 leads to various developmental problems.
research Gene Expression Analysis of Chondrogenic Markers in Hair Follicle Dermal Papilla Cells Under the Effect of Laser Photobiomodulation and Synovial Fluid
Laser treatment and synovial fluid can change hair follicle cells to resemble joint cells, with the changes being more significant when both treatments are used together.
research Treatment of Androgenetic Alopecia by Exosomes Secreted From Hair Papilla Cells and the Intervention Effect of LTF
Exosomes from hair papilla cells and the Chinese medicine Liao Tuo Fang can potentially promote hair growth and could be used to develop hair growth drugs.
research Klhl24-Mediated Hair Follicle Stem Cells Structural Disruption Causes Alopecia
A faulty KLHL24 gene leads to hair loss by damaging hair follicle stem cells.
research Human Hair Follicle-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells Promote Tendon Repair in a Rabbit Achilles Tendinopathy Model
The study explored the effects of human hair follicle-derived mesenchymal stem cells (hHF-MSCs) on Achilles tendinopathy repair in rabbits. Results showed that hHF-MSCs significantly improved tendon repair, with better collagen fiber arrangement, increased prokaryotic cell numbers, and higher maximum tensile strength compared to untreated tendons. Molecular analyses revealed elevated expression of repair-related genes and proteins. These findings suggest that hHF-MSCs have potential as a regenerative treatment for tendon injuries.
research Identification of Long Noncoding RNAs in Mouse Hair Follicle Stem Cells Using Computational Methods
Scientists found new and known long non-coding RNAs in mouse hair follicle stem cells that may be important for stem cell function and could be targets for cancer treatment.
