PAPA Syndrome, or Pyogenic Arthritis, Pyoderma Gangrenosum, and Acne Syndrome, is a rare genetic disorder characterized by recurrent episodes of joint inflammation (arthritis), painful skin ulcers (pyoderma gangrenosum), and severe acne. It is caused by mutations in the PSTPIP1 gene, which affects the immune system and leads to excessive inflammation.
