    Oligo-amenorrhea, also known as oligoamenorrhea or oligo amenorrhea, refers to infrequent or very light menstrual periods. It is typically defined as having fewer than six to eight menstrual cycles per year. This condition can be caused by various factors, including hormonal imbalances, excessive exercise, stress, or underlying medical conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
