A study compared the effectiveness of microneedling combined with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) versus microneedling combined with 5% topical minoxidil in treating male pattern hair loss. Two male patients, aged 33 and 34, with Hamilton-Norwood stage III and IV hair loss, respectively, underwent eight sessions of microneedling over six months.
