    High-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) is a blood test that measures low levels of C-reactive protein, a marker of inflammation in the body. Elevated hs-CRP levels can indicate chronic inflammation and are often used to assess the risk of cardiovascular diseases, as well as to monitor conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and lupus.
