    Fasting Glucose, also known as Fasting Blood Glucose (FBG) or Fasting Plasma Glucose (FPG), is a test that measures the level of glucose (sugar) in your blood after you have not eaten for at least 8 hours. This test is commonly used to diagnose diabetes and monitor blood sugar levels in individuals with diabetes, providing critical information about how well the body is managing glucose.
