    Discoid Lupus Erythematosus (DLE) is a chronic autoimmune condition that primarily affects the skin, leading to the development of red, inflamed, and scaly patches, often on the face, scalp, and ears. These lesions can cause scarring and permanent hair loss if they occur on the scalp.
