A meta-analysis of 25 randomized controlled trials revealed that KLTi plus GP chemotherapy significantly improved the objective response rate and disease control rate compared to GP chemotherapy alone. Additionally, it reduced adverse drug reactions, including hair loss, gastrointestinal reactions, liver and kidney impairment, nervous system damage, myelosuppression, anemia, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, and hypochromia. The findings suggested that KLTi could be an effective and safe intervention for patients with advanced NSCLC.
