This study investigates isoalantolactone (ISA) as a potential treatment for hair loss, highlighting its ability to stimulate hair cell growth through the activation of the WNT/β-catenin and Ras/MAPK pathways. ISA promotes hair follicle regeneration and growth by activating these pathways, enhancing the proliferation of hHDFP cells, and preventing β-catenin degradation. In a C57BL/6 mouse model, ISA significantly improved hair growth and increased hair thickness compared to controls, suggesting its promise as a novel treatment for hair loss.
