In this study, an 8-year-old girl with dermatomyositis and extensive calcinosis showed complete clearance of calcinosis and good disease control after treatment with a combination of corticosteroids, methotrexate, hydroxychloroquine, pamidronate, and intravenous immunoglobulin.
