This study developed two types of polymeric nanoparticles containing clindamycin phosphate for potential topical acne treatment and found that the NP-AH-CDM-4 formulation preferentially penetrated hair follicles even with sebaceous obstruction, suggesting its promise for more effective acne therapy without causing skin irritation.
