Metribolone, also known as R1881 or Methyltrienolone, is a synthetic anabolic-androgenic steroid (AAS) that is highly potent. It binds strongly to androgen receptors, making it useful in scientific research to study androgen receptor activity. However, due to its high toxicity, it is not used clinically in humans.
