A Mental Health Evaluation, also known as a Psychiatric Evaluation or Psychological Assessment, is a comprehensive process conducted by a mental health professional to diagnose and understand an individual's mental health status. This evaluation typically includes a series of interviews, questionnaires, and sometimes physical exams or lab tests to assess symptoms, behavior, and cognitive functioning, helping to identify conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, or schizophrenia.
