Myeloid-Derived Suppressor Cells (MDSCs) are a type of immune cell that originates from bone marrow and has the ability to suppress the body's immune response. They play a significant role in cancer and other diseases by inhibiting the activity of T cells and natural killer cells, which can allow tumors to grow and spread more easily.
