    Anti-La antibodies, also known as Anti-SS-B antibodies, are immune proteins that mistakenly target and attack the body's own cells, specifically the La protein. These antibodies are commonly associated with autoimmune conditions such as Sjögren's syndrome and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Their presence can help in diagnosing these diseases and understanding the extent of immune system involvement.
