Interleukin-36 (IL-36) is a group of cytokines, which are small proteins important for cell signaling in the immune system. These cytokines play a crucial role in inflammatory responses and are involved in the pathogenesis of various autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, such as psoriasis. IL-36 includes three agonists (IL-36α, IL-36β, and IL-36γ) and an antagonist (IL-36Ra), which together help regulate the body's immune response.
