Switching from finasteride to dutasteride can cause significant hair shedding if done abruptly. It's recommended to overlap both treatments and gradually taper off finasteride to minimize shedding.
community Don’t give up on your dreams! fin (most days.. don’t always remember) and minoxidil foam twice a day (when I remember.. at least once a day though) ….and derma roll when I remember (kinda once every 2 or 3 weeks… ye ye.. I know.. I should do it every week but I’m forgetful 😂 )

EdgeLord19941's progress with hair loss medication, which includes 0.5mg dutasteride daily, 5mg oral minoxidil daily and microneedling with an electronic pen once every 7-14 days at 1.5mm. There have been positive results reported within 3 months of following this regimen with no major side effects.
