research Transcriptome Sequencing Reveals Expression Profiles of lncRNAs and mRNAs in Goat Skin Tissues with Different Wool Coat Types
This study investigates the expression profiles of lncRNAs and mRNAs in skin tissues of Jinlan Cashmere Goats with different wool coat types. Researchers identified 130 differentially expressed lncRNAs and 341 mRNAs, with significant findings in keratin filament and cytokine activity. Key pathways such as the Estrogen signaling pathway and Cytokine-cytokine receptor interaction were highlighted. The study also constructed a ceRNA regulatory network, identifying regulatory axes targeting genes like EPPK1 and IRF4. These insights enhance understanding of ncRNA-mediated hair follicle biology and suggest targets for improving cashmere quality and yield.
