Dissecting Cellulitis of the Scalp, also known as Perifolliculitis Capitis Abscedens et Suffodiens, is a rare, chronic inflammatory condition that affects the scalp. The exact cause is unknown, but it is thought to involve follicular occlusion and secondary bacterial infection.
