Dermoscopy, also known as dermatoscopy or epiluminescence microscopy, is a non-invasive diagnostic technique used to examine the skin's surface and subsurface structures with the aid of a specialized magnifying device. This tool allows dermatologists to better visualize and evaluate skin lesions, moles, and other abnormalities, aiding in the early detection of conditions such as melanoma and other skin cancers.
