Skin tumors, also known as skin neoplasms or cutaneous tumors, are abnormal growths of skin cells that can be benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous). These growths can arise from various types of skin cells, including melanocytes, keratinocytes, and other cell types, and can manifest as moles, warts, or more serious conditions like melanoma and basal cell carcinoma. Early detection and diagnosis are crucial for effective treatment and management.
