A CT scan, or computed tomography scan, is a medical imaging technique that uses a combination of X-rays and computer technology to create detailed cross-sectional images of the body's internal structures. It provides more detailed information than standard X-rays, making it useful for diagnosing a variety of conditions, including tumors, internal injuries, and bone fractures.

A woman with AGA and CTE has been taking multiple hair loss treatments including spironolactone, dutasteride, finasteride, bicalutamide, birth control, and minoxidil without success. Steroid injections, however, dramatically and immediately stopped her hair loss, though the effect lasts less than a month.
