- 2026 Official Beginner’s Guide for “I’m losing my hair, what can I do?”

- 3 years on Minoxidil and 2.5 years on Finasteride. Pretty happy with the results. Hairline is still a bit crap from above but I think I more or less get away with it from the front. I'm 36 so this feels like a reasonable amount of hair.
- 52 y.o. here. After being on 1 mg finasteride on and off since almost 30 years ago (consistently on for the past 9 years), I'm switching to dutasteride as of today.
- Two and a half years on minoxidil and coming up to two years on finasteride. Hairline has only improved a bit but thickness/density is much better. I was pretty old when I started so I'm pleasantly surprised!
- 24 yo from Istanbul. Hair loss for 3–4 years. Used minoxidil but didn’t see results, recently started topical finasteride. Shedding has accelerated in the last 6 months and I’m very discouraged. What should I expect? Open to advice
- Just bought this Dutasteride from a local Jan Aushadhi store for only 50 rupees. Is this Dutasteride legit? Took my first dose of Duta and I'm still skeptical if it will work or not.

- 1+ year oral dut and oral min. 2023 → 2025. No regrowth or stability, loss continues. I'm completely cooked and demoralized.

- Is minoxidil a must for diffuse thinners. Would it be stupid not to uses minox all over the head if I'm a diffuse thinner?
- Switched to a once per day 7% min, 0.15% fin product. Is this a good idea? I'm a week and a half in and second guessing myself. No side effects.

- Consulted with 3 different dermatologists, all of them were very quick to push Finasteride on me. Went to see my GP – turns out I'm iron deficient, and it's not MPB.
