    Glossary Global Aesthetic Improvement Scale

standardized tool to assess cosmetic treatment effectiveness

The Global Aesthetic Improvement Scale (GAIS) is a standardized tool used by medical professionals to assess the overall improvement in a patient's appearance following a cosmetic treatment. It ranges from "very much improved" to "worse," allowing for a consistent and objective evaluation of treatment outcomes. This scale helps both clinicians and patients gauge the effectiveness of procedures like hair restoration or skin rejuvenation.
