antibiotic treating bacterial infections by disrupting cell wall synthesis

Cephalexin, also known by the brand name Keflex, is an antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. It belongs to the cephalosporin class of antibiotics and works by interfering with the bacteria's cell wall synthesis, ultimately leading to the bacteria's death.
