research Clinical Assessment of Anti-inflammatory Activity of 940 Nanometer Low Level laser Therapy on Carrageenan Induced Arthritis in Temporomandibular Joint in Wistar Albino Rats
This study investigated the anti-inflammatory effects of a 940nm diode laser in Wistar rats with carrageenan-induced arthritis and found that a 74J/cm² energy density significantly reduced edema and restored function, whereas 171J/cm² neared thermal exposure limits for the skin.
research Anti-Inflammatory Activity of Calotropis gigantea and Tridax procumbens on Carrageenin-Induced Paw Edema in Rats
This study found that extracts from Calotropis gigantea and Tridax procumbens individually demonstrated greater anti-inflammatory activity than Ibuprofen in a carrageenin-induced paw edema model.
research The Influence of Stinging Nettle (Urtica dioica L.) Infusions on the Techno-Functionality of k-Carrageenan Hydrogels
In this study, Urtica dioica L. infusions were used to replace water in k-carrageenan hydrogels, resulting in stronger networks with reduced syneresis and altered textural properties, and the highest antioxidant potential was achieved with specific infusion conditions.
research Effect of Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC) in Release Profile of Air Fresheners Gel Prepared Using Carrageenan and HPMC
In this study, an Emulgel containing Tridax procumbens extract was formulated and found to have promising physical properties and antimicrobial activity for wound healing.
research Seaweeds as Source of Bioactive Substances and Skin Care Therapy—Cosmeceuticals, Algotheraphy, and Thalassotherapy
This article reviews the empirical use of algae in traditional remedies and highlights the need for scientific understanding of algae's bioactive compounds used in cosmetics without providing new experimental results.
