chemotherapy drug used to treat certain cancers

Busulfan is a chemotherapy drug primarily used to treat certain types of cancer, such as chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML). It works by interfering with the DNA inside cancer cells, preventing them from growing and dividing. However, it can also cause side effects like hair loss (alopecia) and damage to bone marrow, which is why its use is carefully monitored by healthcare professionals.
