    Blepharoplasty, also known as eyelid surgery, is a cosmetic or functional surgical procedure aimed at correcting defects, deformities, and disfigurations of the eyelids. It involves the removal or repositioning of excess skin, muscle, and fat to improve the appearance of the eyes or to enhance the field of vision obstructed by drooping eyelids.
