It was found to influence hair growth in depilated mice, enhance phagocytosis in leukocytes, and affect neurotransmitter release, DNA/RNA content, and tumor cells. Additionally, it impacted wound healing by promoting collagen production, microcirculation regeneration, and muscle fiber regeneration, while also having immunosuppressive effects. The study suggested that laser irradiation effects could be systemic, possibly due to a circulatory active substance, and noted that these effects were dose-dependent, with higher intensities leading to inhibition rather than stimulation.
