TLDR Vitamins B3, B6, C, and iron intake affect hormone levels in women with certain types of PCOS.
The study found that the intake of certain micronutrients, specifically vitamins B3, B6, C, and iron, was associated with the free androgen index in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). This association was more pronounced in women with normoandrogenic PCOS compared to those with hyperandrogenic PCOS. The results suggested a systemic link between micronutrient intake, androgen levels, and PCOS.
