Visual Improvement in a Child With Periorbital Plexiform Neurofibroma Treated With Selumetinib: Case Report and Literature Review

Recruitment for a verteporfin trial and a separate hair cloning trial using verteporfin and other methods is underway, with locations in Jordan, NYC, Beverly Hills, and Memphis. Dr. Bloxham is conducting the hair cloning trial, and interested participants are encouraged to contact him directly.

Topical pirfenidone is highlighted as an effective anti-inflammatory and anti-fibrotic treatment for hair loss, particularly in addressing perifollicular fibrosis, which may enhance the effectiveness of standard treatments like finasteride and minoxidil. The user also uses calcipotriol, MCT oil, ciclopirox shampoo, and benzoyl peroxide shampoo as part of their regimen.

A hair restoration case involved injecting four different doses of Verteporfin into the mid scalp and using Scalp MicroPigmentation (SMP) around the extraction areas. Photos were taken and an update will be shared soon.

Verteporfin, combined with microneedling, shows promise for hair regrowth by allowing hair follicles to grow in wounds, but it's expensive and painful. Pai-1 inhibitors may also help prevent hair loss by degrading fibrosis, and some users continue using minoxidil alongside these treatments.

Setipiprant and bimatoprost are being discussed as potential future treatments for hair loss. Some individuals have started testing setipiprant before FDA approval, but no progress updates are available yet.
