TLDR A 3-year-old boy had a rare hairball condition usually seen in teenage girls.
A 3-year-old boy with Rapunzel Syndrome had a large trichobezoar extending from his stomach into his small intestine, despite showing no signs of hair loss. Surgery removed a 350 g trichobezoar from his stomach and a 100 g daughter bezoar from his jejunum. Postoperative recovery was smooth, and psychiatric consultation was advised to prevent recurrence. This case underscored the need to consider trichobezoar in differential diagnoses for gastrointestinal obstruction in young children.
