The study evaluated the effectiveness of combining topical capislow with long pulsed Nd-YAG laser treatment for idiopathic hirsutism in a randomized, monoblinded, placebo-controlled split-face study. Participants received up to seven laser sessions at 4-week intervals, with capislow or placebo applied daily. Results indicated that the combination of capislow and laser was significantly more effective than laser alone, although the enhanced effect was temporary and lasted only during the application period. Both treatments were well tolerated by participants.
