    The study evaluated the tolerance and efficacy of a new emollient barrier cream designed for irritated skin in patients with mild to moderate atopic dermatitis (AD). The open-label study involved both pediatric and adult participants who applied the cream to lesional skin twice daily for 3 weeks. The aim was to determine if the cream could help prevent cutaneous reactivity associated with AD. The study was sponsored by Pierre Fabre Dermocosmetics and conducted by researchers from the Clinical Research, Development & Cosmetovigilance Center at Pierre Fabre Dermo-Cosmétique and the Dermatology University Hospital.
