The study of the range and availability of Vitamin D 3 preparations in the pharmaceutical market of Ukraine

The study analyzed the Vitamin D3 pharmaceutical market in Ukraine, identifying 27 registered trade names and highlighting a predominance of domestic production and synthetic origin drugs, primarily in capsule form. A survey of 100 patients revealed that 81% of consumers were women, with an average age of 39. Most consumers followed doctor recommendations, though some deviated due to financial constraints. The study found that commercial names often include the letter designation of Vitamin D3 to aid consumer navigation and boost sales. The research underscores the importance of Vitamin D3 in immune function and bone health, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
